Responsible for laying out a page in Calvin’s weekly student-run newspaper; wrote and edited news articles and editorials; used Trello for project organization and InDesign for publishing layout; maintained a self-hosted Wordpress site, made theme modifications.

Investigated the use of semantic web technologies for enhancing website search experience; implemented a search result server on top of an existing search engine; integrated results from semantic web sources and a local ontology; used Ubuntu as a software development environment.
